Cinco De Mayo Beer Dinner @Block Bistro (Huntersville), 7pm

Latin Street Food II Class @Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen, 6:30pm

If you haven’t tried one of Chef Alyssa’s cooking classes, you’re surely missing out. This class will feature a fusion of Latin cuisines that will soon become your favorite. We definitely recommend her classes for an interactive date night or night out with the gang. Tickets are available here.


Arepas-- Venezuelan white corn cake filled with braised adobo chicken and avocado

Grilled Watermelon and Fried Cotija Cheese Salad

Stuffed Poblano Peppers-- With ground pork, spices, dry fruit and creamy walnut sherry sauce

Frijoles Charros—Mexican-style braised beans topped with fresh spring onion, jalapeno, cilantro and chicharrones

EatWorkPlay's #CLTMixer @City Lights Rooftop Bar, 6pm 


Join EatWorkPlay CLT as we kickoff our Summer Series at City Lights Rooftop at Le Meridien Hotel. The event will feature Mexican cocktails, food, music, and dancing curated for the social Young Professional. Network, mingle, have a blast!

15% of proceeds raised will go to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank to feed those in need in the Charlotte area.


Cinco De Mayo Food Truck Friday @Sycamore Brewing, 5pm

Hooray for a Mexican themed Food Truck Friday! There will be tacos, lager with limes, and good times. Keep a lookout for margarita-prosecco pops along with margarita-beer pops too!


Cinco De Drinko @ D9 Brewing Company (Cornelius), 5pm

Look forward to small batches brewed just for this event as well as margarita-inspired cocktails using D9’s award winning beers. Everything will be specially handcrafted by Bartender Larry from The Punch Room. La Movida Food Truck will be on site serving $2 tacos and music will be provided by HC Oaks Band.   


Cinco De Mayo Party @Vida Cantina, all-day starting at 11am  

Be a part of Charlotte’s biggest (FREE) Cinco De Mayo Party. There will be live music all day as well as great drink specials and delicious food features.  




NoDa Day in May Street Festival @NoDa, 1pm   

Live music, food trucks, arts and crafts, and so much more! FREE ADMISSION. This is a kid-friendly event so bring the whole family.
